IF? They handed y'all the golden ticket, all you had to do was beat Air Force and go to Omaha. If y'all can't make it to Omaha in that bracket, you should be banned from post season play for the next 5 years.

Tech had to go through ND and Tenn to get to Omaha
Okie Lite had to go through Arkansas, Georgia, and North Carolina to get to Omaha.
TCU had to go through A&M, Louisville, Michigan, Oregon to get to Omaha
OU had to go through FL and Va Tech

Give me a break, that was a very favorable draw you got.

I feel like this was a very emotional response to someone simply not making assumptions

it was never a TCU curse, just like it wasn't a Rice curse.

A little Aggie history for those who should know but apparently don't.

"Aggies will often flash a thumbs up and say "Gig 'em!" This is a phrase that dates back to 1920. The term was popularized by P.L. "Pinkie" Downs, a member of the Texas A&M Board of Regents and Class of 1906, when Downs asked the crowd at a yell practice before the 1930 TCU football game, "What are we going to do to those Horned Frogs?" Improvising, he borrowed the name of a sharp-pronged frog hunting tool called a gig, answering his own question by saying "Gig 'em, Aggies!" For emphasis, Downs made a fist with his thumb extended straight up."

Pinky Downs was quite visible around campus at Yell Practice, etc. during my time as a student from 1958-62. He passed away in 1967.

TCU was truly gigged last night. At age 81 my heart won't stand too many more games like that!
