How long do you want to ignore this user?
Howdy, I'm Class of '06 and taking my two boys (9 & 6) to their first Aggie baseball game (first Aggie event in CS as well) this Friday against Kentucky. They are both pretty pumped, as am I! We're coming from a couple hours away. My question is, based on you regular attenders... how full will general admission seating be? Should I be worried? I'm fine with lawn, but is there a time that we need to show up to make sure we get a good spot on the lawn, or a lawn seat at all? Am I overthinking this? I'm just trying to figure out timing.

Thanks for anyone who can help.

It's parents weekend and ring day weekend. I'm sure it will be full. Like incredibly full.

Gates open 1.5 hours before game time. There is a link to buy tickets on the website if you scroll down to the game. Baseball schedule Your boys will have a blast. If you can hang around after the game, they can catch some of the players leaving he field and get autographs. You will see the entrance to the baseball complex outside the stadium on the 3rd base side. There are usually a lot of the parents hanging out there so you should be able to find it easily.

Howdy! 1 hr before the game has been the best so far. A personal preference is to bring a blanket and snag a lawn seat near the playground. My kids love watching the game - playing - then coming back to watch the game. Sitting near the playground places us within perfect range of game, play area, and bathrooms. It's such a great design.

Thanks for the tips folks. Going to pull the kids out a little early on Friday based on recommendations here and try and get there with plenty of time to roam around campus before the game.
