To be fair, he was throwing some nasty pitches and was touching his glove in the same spot before every pitch. I can see why they'd be skeptical and want it checked out.

So I looked this guy up on Tulane site.... he's from California.. wonder if he was escaping COVID shutdown and just wanted to transfer anywhere but a California school...

There was a brief time where Tulane was very good and was pulling in equivalent talent than LSU. But Harvey really gutted that program. I hope they can climb back up to challenge LSU in that state

He played for Tulane last season.

Those were some nasty pitches. Don't blame Miss State but you do run the risk of being wrong and looking dumb when you ask for a check.
