I've had the thought that softball went to the 1-16 a couple of years before baseball to test case it a bit. I think that what we might see (all speculation of course is something similar to softball).
I believe they had all 13 SEC teams that play softball make it with two meeting in Supers. I'd bet we see 11 SEC baseball with two matched in Supers.
The SEC had 9 softball hosts and 4 of those were matched up for Supers (A&M/Florida, Georgia/Tenn). Only 2 of the 9 hosts were national seeds (Florida, Georgia), so it was pretty much impossible to not have SEC teams paired in the Supers.
SEC Baseball will most likely get 5 hosts with 3-4 being national seeds, so the only way we'll get several all-SEC supers IMO is if the 5-6 non hosts pull upsets in their regionals. Florida, Arkansas and Ole Miss should be top 6 national seeds. Georgia will probably be in the 8-10 range, so I think they'll avoid a SEC matched super. The only host I could see matched with another SEC team is Auburn (they could draw Arkansas or Ole Miss, and is say this is likely).
This could be another year that the SEC sends 4 teams to Omaha.
