He's been really good one time through the lineup and then gotten hit hard the second time through lately. Doubt we'll see it, but he might serve better as middle relief. Switch his and Chafins roles and see what happens. Seems like you gotta do something at this point. 0-4 in sec game ones plus a Friday loss to la tech.

I agree. Said as much after 1st series. Kilkenny has pitched better IMO. Winning game 1 is HUGE.

when Kolek starts, he doesn't win and the Ags usually don't either.

it's not always his fault, but it's just not working

I believe he's started 13 conference games over the last 2 seasons and only been the winning pitcher of record twice

I agree, Childress needs to make some bold moves. This team is soft...no Sr leadership and loves to lolly gag. Appear to be great kids, but loosing kids.

It doesn't matter who starts when all we get is 1-2 runs on the opposing Friday starter.

Maybe it does matter, could we have beaten LSU with walk off HR if there had been better pitching in 4th inning!

Walking the leadoff batter is killing us.

It is obvious (to me at least) that the opposing dugout is scouting in advance & is making good in-game adjustments. Our dugout (pitching & offense) doesn't seem to be making counter adjustments or, if they are, aren't making adjustments that work. I see alot of the problems falling on the shoulders of the staff but the players are the ones that have to get it done on the field. Just my opinion...

It's time to go back to playing on Sundays.

I know its not true, but it seems like leadoff walks always end up scoring.
