Okay, I see the shades the team sports and they look like Oakley Half Jackets in maroon and white. COrrect? Do they have aTm logo and can we commoners purchase them somewhere? My boy is Jonesing for a pair and I must cave to shut him him up. Thanks gang.

From what I can tell they were specially ordered for the team. You can probably call Oakley and ask to be sold a pair that match it. Expect it to be expensive.

Some wear the Flak Jacket, and some wear the Radar. You can get a pair of custom Flak Jackets just like the ones that RC wears for $190 through this site.

The only people I've seen wear those type of shades are baseball players and oilfield pumpers.

I own two pairs of Costa Del Mars and two pairs of Ray-Bans. So I guess I do.

Considering I lost my favorite pair to the ocean last week, I'll say not me for expensive shades.

i have a pair of maroon oakley radars that cost me $270 back in 08

My brother lost like 5 pairs of Oakleys this past year... All were around the $300 range. Pisses me off how much money he's got haha, although he did change to wearing cheaper ones.

But I got a pair as a graduation gift back in 2009 and I still have/wear them. I've taken care of them for 2 years, and could almost justify buying a pair like these to change things up.

I want a pair of Flak Jackets to run in. My wife said "absolutely not."

I've had my oakleys for over 10 years. Got them in highscool. I did get them halfoff with the employee discount from the country club I worked at. Got them through the pro shop and they were customs.

I still have a pair of M Frames that I bought when I was 16, and a pair of Pro Ms I bought when I was 18....wear them both when running/cycling.

Cardinal is what I figured is "maroon" but who knows...

What color lens is best, and do you get polorized or not?...This is the Christmas gift if I want it...But polorized jacks up price significantly

I will never again buy sunglasses that are not polarized.

I really don't see any reason to buy Oakley's that aren't polarized. Whenever I buy sunglasses, I look for polarized. They eliminate glare and are better for your eyes.

I realized that metallic red isn't available on all of them. I wouldn't know what to do for maroon unfortunately.

I bought my Oakley M Frames in 2000. Still going strong and added a clear lens a couple of years ago. Bought a pair of Flak Jackets so I won't be wearing the M Frame shades much. On my second pair of Maui Jims (first pair sent back, repaired, and returned) for driving and casual wear. I invest in good quality products and they usually last -- plus I wear contacts and have glare issues, so I don't even want to consider cheap sunglasses.

My M Frames -- $140 for the glasses and $40 for the lens -- have cost me $18 a year for the last decade. If you want to wear a pair jet skiing, THEN get the knock offs.

The nose piece on my oakleys fell off a long time ago, so every time I wear them it pokes my nose.
