Arizona State loses their national seed tonight (at least for now), but their reward is getting UNM paired with thema s the 4 seed.

The UNM win knocked Southeastern Louisiana out of the tournament on my big board.

I don't know anything about UNM but 4 seeds with a truly nasty #1 pitcher is what we don't want coming into our region

They (UNM) don't have a nasty Friday starter. The BEST pitcher on their staff, era-wise, has a 4.52 era and a 4-8 record.

UNM is taking steps to becoming a salty little program. Yall will recall them coming in to Olsen a year or two back. It would be great for the entire area of the country if they could develop into a consistent player.

tt won't like if they develope. tt has really recruited the West Texas area hard, and that would cut into their recruiting. Hey, for me, that suits me just fine.
