Dang it! I want a Maroon Astros hat!!! But, I will definitely not be there given these circumstances... and these circumstances being I think the Ags will make it to the Super Regional.

Im sure you can find a few on ebay the next day. Or if not, the Astros will probably sell them either at their store or from the NLB website.

how are they determining who gets a hat? i have tickets to this game, but i didn't buy them through the aggie special. can i show my ring and get a hat?

Couldn't you just buy cheap tix for the game for the hat? Are they handing them out when you get there or mailing the hat?

Howdy!

As you’re aware, Aggie Night is this Friday, June 10th! We just made it available this week to purchase discounted tickets at the box office as long as they mention Aggie Night (this would eliminate the online service charge).

Secondly, we’re receiving a lot of questions about how everyone can get their cap on Friday. People that purchase at the box office will have a specially coded ticket, and they can simply show it to redeem their cap. We’ll have a printed list the night of the 10th for individuals that purchase using the online link www.astros.com/aggie; they’ll just need to show their ID. Caps will be available for pick up near Larry’s Big Bamboo on the Main Concourse near section 118.

Remember, arrive early to receive your one of a kind hat, and to cheer on Gary Blair as he throws out the first pitch!

Right. I get that. What I'm asking, though, is how you decide who gets one. If I buy through that link you posted, am I assured of getting a hat, or do I have to make sure I'm one of the first 1,000 posted to come to the giveaway location. Once your link hits 1,000 tickets sold, does the giveaway list stop, or does it keep growing? Say 2,000 people buy tickets through that link. Will hats be given only to the first 1,000 to buy through that link, or will they be given to the first 1,000 people to show up?

You'd have to be one of the first 1,000 to get to the table.
