How long do you want to ignore this user?
haven't been to a game in olsen for years (shame on me!), so just have a few questions. have an older couple coming so just want to know before we go.

in the extended bleacher section, are you allowed to bring seatbacks? and, if so, do people bring them or is it not too popular?

is this section where most of the students are? and do they stand during the game like football?

when I was here, we didn't, of course it wasn't as much of the draw like today, so you could pretty much always go in and sit on the first deck (there wasn't the extended section then)

any help would be appreciated. I and the others in my group are fine with whatever, just checking for the older couple.

We were drawing better three years ago than we are now, I think. You should be able to get into sections 201 or 202 without much of a problem, and those seats have backs. I assume that the chairbacks are okay, but I've never brought one in.

There are ushers for the lower deck. You won't be able to get in there without a ticket.

The students do not stand during the games.

thanks. Didn't think they stood, but things are so different from when I was a student (late 80s), I wanted to check.

I've already got the tickets in section 6 of the bleachers. it's sold out except some seats on stubhub for a lot. I needed 7 together, so wasn't too easy to get together, but I got them on like the first day of sales.

Unless they have changed things very recently, sections 201 through 207 and all of the right field bleachers are general admission.

wait a minute...

one other thing. even though the tickets I got have a row and seat numbers, is this still general admission?

I just noticed that on the aggieathletic site that it says first come, first served in the white sections. So what's the point of having the row and seat number on the ticket if it doesn't hold?

I posted at the same time.

Ah, damn, didn't notice that. How early do they allow you in there?

Olsen open 90 minutes before first pitch.

Get there 20 minutes before, and you should be able to get a good seat. If the couple you are with is old, they might get stiff necks in the right field bleachers. I've never sat out there myself.

yea, I've found 8 seats in 220 at the end, they're great seats (went out there and tried it today), but worried that my father can't climb that high and my mom is a bit scared of heights (oh the joys of aging parents, but I love them anyhow!

The rest of us are fine up there. I'm thinking of gettting us 5 and then getting them two on the first deck (although they'd be pricey).

I'm a doofus and didn't see the general admission thing, but I can sell them if needs be as well as the other 3 on 220.

I'll see what to do, thanks so much for your help.

Are you talking about the Texas games? I think they aren't doing GA for those FYI

For the texas game on saturday, they said that they would not offer general admission to anyone other than students as they are expecting a large turnout. Not sure about the game on sunday.

I had assumed that OP was talking about this weekend, i.e. Mizzou.

Texas game is a totally different deal. If you are talking that weekend, general admission seats will be full almost as soon as the park opens.

On a normal night, you can walk up 20-30 before the game and sit in a good seat in general admission. On Sundays, you can walk up at first pitch and do that most of the time.

I was talking about the tu apr. 17 game and they did have assigned seats on the tickets so I wasn't sure, I'll check with athletic department, but think we're going to use the 220 anyway.
