That's Brodie Greene. Started wearing the facemask after being hit in the face by a pitch last year.

And the year before that.

I like the shiny helmets but really dont care if they were shiny ones or glitter ones or dull ones...(as they are all ugly with that beveled ATM on it)..but playing the "they look more rugged, blue collared, scrappy" card...come on

not really...alot of coaches have the philosphy of "you look good you play good"..especially baseball coaches.
and no other sport takes more pride in the uniform than baseball.


saying the coaches like the helmet becasue the dull represents being scrappy or rugged kinds reminds me of Fran taking the last names off the football jersies...yeah that worked out really well

I didn't think of bass boat glitter. That would be cool. And Columbia quick dry jerseys from Academy, with lots of cool pockets.

I kind of like them. But the coaches should match. It just looks incongruous when the coaches are wearing shiny helmets and the players are wearing the matte ones.

This is baseball..They will not be changed unless we go into a slump..

I'm not a fan of the matte finish, but it's not a huge deal.
...As long as they don't do the two-toned Little League look like the Mets
