big rpi and momentum game going into next weekend's series with DBU

I'd guess yes. On a similar note, we really have not seen guys who played a big role last year like Migl and Ehlert (to late now). I guess they just have not performed well enough lately to get a shot in a game (I know Ehlert was in briefly on Tuesday).

i agree that alot of the guys from last year you are not seeing, but i don't really think Migl did much last year.

Migl hasn't done much since his freshman year.

If only Minks and Robertson would come around, we really could use a few more bullpen arms...

We need this win on Tuesday night if we are going to make a run at a regional host.

i think minks and robertson have been throwing good, they just are not being thrown.

minks and robertson are both middle innings guys. they wont start, but they arent closers either. i think they can come in and give us 2 solid innings at a time. Minks was up in the pen a few times this weekend.. hes great in ground ball situations because he throws from down low and his ball has lots of run and sink. i havent really ever had much faith in robertson despite his good stuff. if our starters keep giving us good performances we may continue to see wilson, fleece, and thebeau in relief because they have the hot hands right now. hell, even Esty has done well lately. That being said, i'd like to see Minks in short relief a little more than we have thus far.

i hope thebeau gets the start for us tuesday. i get the feeling he could have a UL-Lafayette type game again... kind of the same situation (we have been rolling lately but our pitching is a little depleted and this is a huge game for us), just not a regional.

I hope so. A win over TCU might finalize travel plans for them and insure another Big 12 host site. We need a W on Tuesday.

Its a big if, but IF Ehlert's ball is sinking anywhere near what he had last year, he can pitch very well. He just hasn't had it this year and expect Thebeau to be coming in for long relief if needed. I doubt Ehlert will have much of a leash
