On the radio today, Dave and Chuck said that after Anderson got tossed in the bottom of the 1st, that he changed uniforms and went back into the dugout and was coaching for a little while before the umpires realized it and sent him back. Anyone know anything about this? If it's true, it is pretty damn funny.

I thought that's what I saw, when the 1st base ump went over to the dugout later on in the game.

Dear baseball gods, please let some other school pick up Frank Anderson so he'll stop tarnishing our conference.

Then again, it would be very typical of OSU to get another coach just like Anderson & Holliday.

If true I'd think the league would punish him somehow.

But yeah it is pretty funny.

I enjoy watching Anderson get close to being ejected from every game that he coaches at olsen.

it occurred when the catcher was coming back to the dugout after the inning where he accidentally threw the ball to the umpire thinking that was out #3. (when the strike out was only out #2 and the aggie runner advanced)

The new transfer rules officially started the demise of Oklahoma State baseball.

It's only a matter of time before Anderson loses his job.

If that's accurate, I'm guessing Frank gets a multi-game suspension.

Anyone see the 2 OSU players get into an altercation in the dugout during the 3rd inning? Several people sitting around us saw them fighting & getting into each other's face. A short time later one was sent into the locker area. Talk about team unity! LOL

I for one was sad that Anderson got tossed in the first inning, he is usually good for 2-3 tirades a game and I feel like we got shorted this game

Well we didn't even get one tirade. He was arguing the double play call from yesterday.

Coaches pass their attitudes down onto their players.
I saw plenty of Frank in Neil Medchill. It seemed like in his mind, he's never been struck out looking, just screwed by umps

OK, I just got this fine little tidbit from a friend who officiates NCAA softball (and yes, the rules are the same in this situation). Once tossed, coach must not have any contact with staff. If coach's failure to comply is noticed and reported to the conference office, it is an additional infraction and will result in an additional suspension, usually 2 games but depends on the details. Failure to comply with suspension can result in loss of job.

It wasn't surprising at all to see the OSU players exhibiting horrible attitudes. They have such a great role model.

I for one was happy we didn't have to deal with his hissy fit mound visits and pitching changes today.
