It looks, from the distance to the bag, that Smith might have gotten there first on the play at 2nd base. Watching it on All-Access, it looked as if the runner beat him by a half-step. Cool pic.

It does show the blown call at 2nd. I thought Smith beat him, but I was a couple hundred feet away (and just maybe not 100% impartial).

Check the flex in Colligan's bat after contact. There's a reason the "exit speeds" for the metal bats are high.
Wildmen, are you planning on shooting for the midweek games?
For the most part yes, for sure the evening games and I'm going to make the Wed. game this week.As long as I am not working that night and I can get off during the day I plan on being there.

hey, wildmen, how many pics do you take per game usually?
For games like this between 200-300. When we hit conference games, or have a big win I'll fill up my card, around 450.
Did you take any of me when I stripped down to my trunks and tshirt on Saturday night?
