So where has the Rally Rooster been the last few weeks. Luckily we haven't needed him much, but we miss him? Anyone know?

after XX years as a student worker, the rally rooster has finally decided to move on to bigger and better things...a desk job.

i don't know. I haven't seen it since i left in '04.

I've seen it this season and it has come through, though that is one game I believe. I don't recall seeing it tonight, but if we're winning I'd rather see it that way.

yea, it was at the Tech game earlier this year, I kept looking for it tonight...

My wife thought she saw it in the bottom of the 9th yesterday. I couldn't tell for sure. Anyone in Aggie Alley able to confirm or deny this? Did we have a rally rooster sighting?

I know the guy in charge of it. In fact, he is a sometimes lurker/poster on here.

He is not a present student and is very busy with his work. It makes it very difficult for him to, not just bring it to all the games, but even for him to make it to most of the games himself. He has talked about officially retiring the bird at the end of the year, but that is not final.

If he doesn't see this post before the next game, I will make sure he comes on here to see the support that is being displayed here.

Who knows, maybe he can find someone to pass it on to or something along those lines.

We have a spot out in aggie alley next to them and i have asked several times where the rooster has been, he has difficulty sometimes getting the bird their in its box, due to its size and weight. If i interepreted that right from our discussion. If he is looking to pass along the responsibilty i think Texags is the perfect place to start, if not out in the alley where me and my boys watch every game.
