I say no. I think SCAR will win the East. Mizzou still plays at Ole Miss, against Tennessee, and against us. The only big conference games that SCAR has left is Mississippi State and Florida, but I think the gamecocks will win both of those games.

My fellow Gamecock(thats my 2nd college team as i used to live in Greenville,SC) i believe in your team but not sure how you feel about the great coaching of Spurrier lately,i mean he is a legend dont get me wrong and in the past years recruited good enough players to put back the Cocks in the map of college football relevancy but for some reason i guess its the fan still in me that hopes they were doing a bit better,didnt impressed me the lack of conditioning on the defense between some critical coaching mistakes in my opinion but i still think they might win the division...

Mizzou with so many injuries will have the legs cut off so i think Cocks will have the biggest and hardest opponent of the season only when they face the rival Tigers ,until then i see them winning out their games left...

Spurrier has recruited and his sound bites are without equal (inb4 lsu#2fan - I would give les some credit if he actually knew what was coming out of his mouth when he said it). Play calling has been a little suspect. I think we miss Ellis coaching the d more than most will admit (he has done a good job with auburn this year). Thankfully Florida has no offense. I'm hoping thompson can step up next year with shaw gone and with mike davis we should be ok.

How long were you in Greenville? I did most of my time in Columbia and didn't get out much. Thinking I might stay there instead of Columbia after the game next year.

I agree with you and i lived there for about 3 years and my wife lived there all her life, i personally have family in both towns but always enjoyed Greenville ,specially the Greer,Taylors area better as it is more quite and peacefull with the mountains nearby..Hiking and all that clean and nice scenario and views
