Saw this on TideFans. Thought it was mildly humorous.

My mellowed-out philosophy regarding the A&M result:

We took Bryant from A&M. We owe them one.

We took Stallings from A&M. We owe them two.

A&M took Fran from us. We owe them three.

After this weekend we only owe 'em two..

Fran's hire set us back by more years than when he was here. Really can't remember any standout games from that era other than the last one when we beat the whorns. I guess that's the most memorable one because everyone knew he was still getting fired, celebrating about both.

I met w Fran at a fundraiser two yrs before he left. He was completely apathetic and did not give a damn, tired, old , riding the clock. Damn shame we ever had him representing TAMU.
