Who has seen them play? I feel like they are in hiding. Is the a fundamental team who will let UK shoot themselves in the foot and pull a 28-20 win over the Kentucky or is the week MSU get's bitten on the road?

Kentucky is falling down keystone cops style it seems, ala Arkansas occasionally. Granted I'd like to not have UK looks awful, but the West needs to win more of these matchups and look a little deeper than Alabama/LSU and 5 also-rans.

Looking at the rest of MSU's schedule, they have bought wins (Troy, Jackson St, South Alabama, Middle Tennessee) but any chance we see them get 4 SEC games in the bag? Auburn already, UK?, UA?, Ole Miss? I don't know since I really haven't seen them play. What's their defense been able to do? Or does it not really matter cause their only solid opponent was Auburn.

The secondary is the strength of their defense, which is overall pretty good. Probably not Bama, LSU or Florida good, but right behind them. They'll likely be 7-1 when we play them.

They really pushed Auburn around. That's the only game I've watched them play.

They are good and I don't think the odds are in our favor to beat them at their place.

That tandem of corners they have is very good. They lack the depth that Bama or LSU has but I'd rank them ahead of Florida's DBs.

Our secondary is better than LSU or Bama's...tis true they have better overall depth on D, but we aren't far off...LSU better figure it out offensively, or they are in trouble...Bama looks stout, but you never know.

It's usually a pretty good event. Draws a big crowd - truth be told, too many folks for the bars in the Cotton District to handle.

Thanks for the info. My niece and her fiance (both from Texas) are attending Mississippi State and I plan to make the road trip. Should be fun.
