Or does it knock the wind out of us right before conference play?

Hopefully BCG will have them hit practice hard this week to prepare for tech. We'll just have to see. I'm optimistic that he can get this team on the right track for conference play.

I think it will be good motivation to move into Big 12 play with. A loss in BB isn't always a bad thing.

this is basketball. teams lose games. part of the deal. losing didn't hurt texas, kentucky and tonight we'll see about Louisville. BCG will use this to our advantage.

Take the glsses off, troops. We are 10-1, not 1-10. Of course the loss helps. I would expect to see a different team out there Saturday.

Losses never help. But we will make things right before our next game.

Our offensive weaknesses were exposed....we won't win many games with JJ and AL combining for only 23 points!

It ought to teach BG that playing all home games in non-conference looks good in the won/loss record but it may not be best for the team in the long run. A&M has tremendous support at home in all sports and playing all those games at home probably gives the team and the fans more of a comfort level with the way they are playing than they should have. It is the same in all Aggie sports, especially football.

You know who says losses are a good thing? Losers.

Actually losses do help sometimes, but not in this case. With our strength of schedule it's gonna take some a couple of big upsets in the Big 12 to even get mentioned for the NCAA.

Losses in themselves are NEVER good ... PERIOD.

The real issue is how you deal with a loss. Does the team lose confidence? Do they take the opportunity to be introspective? Do they blame one another or take the blame as a team? Do they quit or do they saddle up to do better?

Those are important questions and we'll see the answer to most if not all of them on Saturday afternoon.

Personally, I think we handle the loss well and move forward.
