has moved into Mizzous starting lineup since the past 3 games-jason horton has slid out strangely.., logging about 20min a game, not getting many shots but very solid contribution across the board, and arguably their best defender and hardest worker. nice to see him getting a chance especially after tigerboard was writing him off as a extra body in practice when he transfered, and now they are treating him like we did Walker last year, loving him, but he has so much more potential

Marcus actually had some offers from some good schools while in HS, but wanted to play for his dad. His only problem is that he carried the 'coaches son' moniker with him when he transfered. Thats always a problem to overcome if you arent the be-all end-all player of the century.

4 pts. 1 reb. 2 assists in their game vs. La. Monroe. This was about avg. for him as he is avg. 3.8 points 2.2 boards a game in almost 18 minutes. Do you really consider that a solid contribution across the board?

add 2 steals, and I was more infering contribution that does not show up in the box score, since I would be willing to bet you have not seen more than 1 game. Walkers numbers have never been dazzling either but thats never stopped everyone here from getting worked up

it doesn't take numbers to get worked up...solid d, keep balls alive on the boards/loose balls, and the occational three were walker's role and he did a great job as much as it absolutely pains some people to say.

It's amazing he can even find the court after being coached by Melvin.
