No, he is not eligible. They refused to give him a release so he is sitting out this year.

it is true that new mexico has not released him but they still have a chance to. we're still in talks with them so hopefully he will be able to play. to be honest, i have no idea why they would not grant a release other than to get at him for leaving. NOT COOL
