I'd like to play DePaul just to play somebody different.

If we can get about 10,000 tomorrow we will make a VERY strong case for hosting in the 2nd round (should we get there).

We may look pretty good attendance wise compared to the games I've seen at tv so far.

The MU paper said they were expected 6-8K for this game. Blamed it on spring break week, etc.

Round 2 should be at Reed if we win tomorrow night.

Ya I agree I think our fans are excited to go to the postseason -even though it is the NIT. but i'm sure at Mizzu the NIT is considered a bad year and not to many people are excited.. Yall agree or no!

Yeah that's the issue because our fans should be excited about the NIT as opposed to other schools that view the NIT as a dissapointment.

I agree, plus I bet most fans would rather see Quin gone instead of play in the NIT.

i thought i read that mizzou has spring break next week? Anyone that can confirm? You would think they would have no chance for a 2nd round if their attendance is this bad while their students are in town.

Spring break or no spring break, the crowd tonight at Mizzou may be only HALF what we have at Reed tomorrow night.

Mizzou Arena was packed when KU came to town. They must be really disappointed with NIT. Truth be told, they were lucky to be invited to the NIT with their record, the KU game is the only reason they are there.

Our chances are good of hosting a second round game should we get there. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, though. We talked about our chances against KU in the second round of the Big 12 tourney and then we lost to KSU. Clemson is a talented team, they beat Maryland THREE times this season. They also have wins against Ohio State and Virginia Tech. I'm only going to look forward to tommorrow for now.

Mizzou named their arena after the daughter of one of their rich alums.

The daughter went to USC instead, and got busted in the fall for paying her roommate 20K/yr. to do her homework for her.

Mizzou has since changed the name, but seeings it used to be "Paige Arena" (name of the girl), turned out to be a spoiled brat.
