It'll be interesting to see the crowd growing throughout the women's game. Looks like I'll have to go early to get my usual seats.

This reminds me of the format we used to have in the late 70's, when we would host both the women's and men's conference teams on the same night. Arriving early to get the best general admission tickets I could gave me my first glimpse at women's basketball. After I started enjoying watching the ladies play, I would arrive before their warmups to get the best seats I could. For popular games (there were a lot back then) a healthy crowd was present by halftime of the women's game.

I had the same question. They told me I would have my normal men's tickets.

Guess that makes sense, since the seats I normally have for the women's games are probably someone else's men's season tickets.

They scheduled it that way to force students to watch the women's game. To get good general admission seats, we now have to arrive to the womens' game early. With the anticipation of the Aggies' first NIT appearance since 1994, that will be the longest womens' basketball game of my life.

You guys are way too brutal on the women. I know it's not as entertaining as the men, but Coach Blair has done a tremendous job with the team. The situation he inherited from Coach Gillom was every bit as bad as what BCG inherited from Davis/Barone/Watkins.

For those (Knut et al) that don't like women's basketball, please don't pad your posts by dissing the girls who play their freakin' azzes off. It wasn't funny at first, and now it is just plain making you look foolish. PLEASE, since you skip their games, could you also skip the threads about womens' games. Thanks.

I support the women's game, but come on...the Aggies were 4-12 in conference. That does not deserve any post-season no matter who you are.

I think the committee puts more faith in the strength of the conference then you do raider. I think I heard them say 7 teams made the NCAA's from the Big 12. When your conference is that strong, there will be some undeserving teams getting some post season looks.

No, they don't. They've been to the dance more recently than the men, but they have a horrible history other than a couple of average years when Lisa Branch was running the show.

Raider, while I agree 14-14 (4-12) looks bad, only 3 of those losses came to teams not in the NCAA tourney. 8 of the conference losses came to top 25 teams with another 4 to teams that were 8-8 in the Big12. That leaves us with just 2 other losses, 1 at Missouri and 1 in the season opener at S.Florida.

You have a womens team , and Coach Blair was a great hire and soon will make you aware of it.

Women's basketball is great... if you like layups, 2 handed jump shots, and games in the 40s.

BTW, how are you supposed to keep a buzz for the men's game if you have to come early and sit through the ladies? Looks like a flask night to me.
