as of 1pm there were less than a 1,000 student tickets sold,they went on sale at 8am this morning...it sucks this game is on Spring Break
if we want to even top 10,000 the alumni and community are gonna have to step it up big time

the pairing was announced late last night. i doubt more than 5,000 students even know that there is an NIT game at Reed on Wed. Give it time. Baby Steps... Baby steps

plus not exactly all of us live in college station... (kerrville here)

This is why I am happy I live in The Woodlands and can make it to a week night game without much trouble.

Why do people panic in the days before every home game about student ticket pull?

I wouldnt be shocked to have a school record crowd Wednesday night...spring break or not...

The reserved seats are way ahead of where they would normally be selling on Monday afternoon for a Wednesday night game, BTW.

This continued criticism of the students on virtually every single home game is really starting to fu##ing pi$$ me off.....

I think we need to get Traditions Council involved in declaring b*thcing a tradition.

i have to wait until wednesday because of that stupid rule where you cant have someone else pull your ticket. so that might take away a lot of the students who might otherwise go.

I can vouch for most of our group being there, I dont know if Nate will be here or not. So we need to get a backup plan going for that.

yeah, dont worry about student pull just yet- this event date hasnt yet existed for 24hrs- the students will end up in the 5-8k range i am sure

Thank goodness!! I don't want to have to drive to CS tomorrow morning, pull my ticket, and drive back to Houston.

imo, no way we sell out. I said this after the ISU game and got slammed but will be proven right yet again.

Most students aren't going to pull until Wed because why make 2 trips back to CS (one trip to pull a ticket and the other to go to the game)? Relax its just like the t.u. game that took place over Christmas break: kids will just come back on gameday and pull.

It sucks that the game is not going to be on TV. I agree that alot of ags don't even know about the game. I just found out now and it is 6pm.

I've been a big backer of the students all year, always been calming the complainers down.

I will be shocked if the students sell out their section for this game. Its spring break, the NIT is less high profile, I even think the way you pull tickets is different. We will have to rely on the non students to sell it out, and be loud as well

you guys are just plain wrong- in my 19 years in College Station I have learned never to underestimate the lengths to which Aggies will go to support one another- this is a huge game for many reasons, and we will sellout

Is there a maximum number of student tickets available? As in, if the student allotment sells out, do they start letting students sit in teh rest of the arena if those tickets haven't sold?

I can attest the students have more than pulled their weight this year for the men. I wish we could get more for the women, but wishing in one hand and -- never mind. Good on ya 12th Man.

Almost all of the regulars will be there. Unless you're already out of state on Spring Break, I don't see any reason why the people that would show up to games an hour or more early wouldn't come back for the NIT game.

I'm confident that the bottom deck of the student section will be full. As for the 2nd deck above the student section, the more the better but I doubt that section gets filled up. Hope Im wrong though.

when i picked up my ticket today at 4:30, the guy said there was still about half of the 1000 free tickets available. My guess is that the majority of those "Aggie Hoops Fans" will come in early wednesday afternoon to see the ags beat the tigers.

i would love to go . . unfortuntely, i'm in arlington for spring break and just got a $183 speeding ticket on the way up here lol . . i'm in no mood to drive down for a wednesday night game and drive back for the rest of spring break . . and i dont want to be in cs with nothing to do

i've been to every other home game and two road games . . . so i'm gonna be sad i wont be there
