This just in – “Aggie Basketball Post Season Doubleheader” this Wednesday night at Reed Arena!
The 2004-2005 Aggie Basketball season has been amazing. From the three record setting crowds, the emergence of an intimidating student section AND home court advantage this has been a year to remember.
IT’S NOT DONE!
This Wednesday night the women will play Tulsa at 5 p.m. and then at 7:30 p.m. the men will play Clemson. The student body is a major reason for this year’s success and we need you there in full force as the Aggies head into the post season.
Not only do we need your help at the game…we need your help spreading the word. Please forward this message to as many people as possible. Aggie Athletics is Building Champions and this is a BIG step in that direction.
Here are some important details:
All students must have a valid Texas A&M Student ID to pull a ticket. You do not need a sports pass. One ticket will get you into both games The first 1,000 students to pull their tickets AT THE KYLE FIELD TICKET OFFICE ONLY will receive a FREE ticket courtesy of Saturn of Aggieland Student tickets may be pulled from either the Zone Ticket Windows or Reed Arena (the 1,000 FREE tickets are only available at the Zone)
Student ticket pull will start at the outside windows of the Texas A&M ticket office at 8am-5pm, Monday, March 14 ...and at the Reed Arena Box Office, Monday morning from 10am-5pm.
Student tickets are $4 Seats are general admission in the student section of
Reed Arena Student Guest Tickets are $15
Students must also show their student ID to enter Reed Arena
A university policy prevents students from bringing someone else's student ID...therefore each student coming to the game MUST pull their own ticket.
MAROON & WHITE OUT REED:
To help make Reed as intimidating as possible and to help commemorate the event we are going to Maroon & White Out the entire arena. Imagine the whole place packed to the rafters with alternating sections of maroon and white shirts. And in true Aggie fashion the MSC Bookstore stepped up big. Here's how (and trust me - these shirts are very cool!):
The MSC Bookstore will be selling a special commemorative $5 t-shirt for the event, which can be bought starting Monday at the MSC Bookstore, the Aggie Locker in the Zone and at Reed Arena near the ticket windows.
We are encouraging fans who buy tickets to the game to purchase a colored shirt based on their ticket section. Fans with tickets in EVEN sections should buy and wear the MAROON
shirt. Fans in ODD sections should buy and wear the WHITE shirt. Since the student section is general admission and students won’t know what section they are in until the actually get to their seat, the MSC Bookstore has agreed to have people in the student section selling shirts on a cash only basis, so bring your $5 bill and buy a shirt when you get to your seat. Let’s show our full support of Aggie Basketball by creating a maroon and white pattern throughout Reed Arena!
Thanks for all your help this season. Aggie Hoops would not be where it is with out the strong support of the student body.
Let’s fill Reed to the rafters and help the Aggies “BTHO TULSA and Clemson.”
Get your shirt, tell your friends and neighbors and be a part of Aggie Hoops – post season style!
