I think I saw somewhere MarcAg or someone estimated 8 wins in the Big 12. I have to say that is utterly ridiculous. I certainly can tell Aggies are a football school displaying that kind of expertise.

I don't think 8 is TOTALLY out of the question, playing well enough I think we could get 2 with baylor, 1 with Colorado, 1 with Nebraska, 1 with Kansas State and then if you can upset a couple of teams you've got it, I think 5-6 is much more likely but 8 isn't totally out of the question.

6 or 7 plus one Big 12 tourney win!! Got to be optimistic at this time of year.

Nothing like ripping someone without a shred of evidence to support your statement.

The only place I've seen MarcAg mention 8 wins was on AgTimes in response to someone who asked how many seasons it will take us to get to .500 in conference.

Yeah I certainly wasn't predicting 8 wins this year. Somebody just asked how long until we were .500 in the conference and I said it "could" be possible next year.

I don't have a clue about this team and wouldn't even go so far as to predict 4 conference wins right now because I simply dont have a clue.

You play in the best conference in the world. yep... You will win big majority of your preseason games and two or three conference games this year if you are lucky. Be patient and it will come, I am pulling for the Aggies. I have a lot of confidence in your coaching staff.

3-4 wins in conference.

I have no idea how good this team will be. (Putting on my maroon shades) My prediciton, though will have to be 7 this year.

7? Maybe in Gillespie's second year, definately not in the first.

Next year will be different though. I'm pumped about Gillespie. He's the best thing to happen to our basketball program in decades. Excellent recruiter and coach.

absolutely correct on 8, I had 3. unbelievable. I saw the utep deal and understand it, I saw the ag deal and i still cannot figure it out. unbelievable. clyde deserves $10m....
