This presser is the first one that I have ever enjoyed so much I watched it twice.
This guy really comes off as genuine, I hope we can keep him for a long long time.

You never know how coaching tenures will go but I like hearing declarations like "when we make the final 4…and we will make it". He sounds like a man on a mission.

After the game last night, I wandered down to the scorer's table where the stat crew sits. I know several folks on the stat crew, so I went down to say hello. Anyway, after every game, Bucky comes to the table, puts on a headset, and does a post-game radio interview. He always...and I mean ALWAYS...acknowledges and thanks the fans, students, etc. who are still in the arena. He is very engaging and appreciative of the opportunity he has at A&M. I have no idea if that means he will stay forever or if he will bounce after this season...but there is no doubt he loves this team, our university, and his situation. He has been a great find and a very refreshing voice after what we've had leading the team for the last decade or more.

Think he was referring to Mike D'Antoni, who some call Tony.

My sons went to the game and sat in front of Amen Thompson and Reed Shepherd, so even a few pros in the house last night.

He and Morrison have this same thing and talk the same way about their programs. Great to see more of this on campus.

That is the strategy. I noticed it in the tu game and this one as well. When we we press and stay agressive all 94 ft of the court, yes they get a few easy buckets but what it does to the other team is that it makes them play faster than they want to. They speed up and then they start making careless mistakes because they aren't used to playing helter skelter ball from end to end.

Having said that we gotta close out games better. When they pressed us, we panicked there for a bit.

i am anti long contract extensions similar to what we have jimbo but if there is one coach i would make an exception for it is bucky. i have seen enough to know he is the real deal.

It seemed to me like Bucky was so pumped up he could barely contain himself. His neck was beet red and he kept having to take a breath and gather himself.

Regardless of what anyone else thinks, I believe he views this season as a huge success.
