I never heard that when listening to quite a few past interviews with him, not sure where that came from.

Bucky seems awesome, his speech was a home run. Looking forward to seeing this guy coach.


I'll never understand how the war hymn was cool when it's mostly about Texas, I'd hate it as an A&M coach. Singing about Texas every game even when 99% of the time you're not actually playing them.

He's kind of a dork, but so are we (as a whole). I like him. Loved the not so subtle Buccees reference. If anyone can get an athletic donation out of Mr. Aplin, it will be a coach named Bucky.

I have a friend in the media who was at Easterwood today. He said Bucky went down the line and introduced himself to every single one of them. No coach has done that in the 10 years this guy has been covering these welcomes.

he clearly was brought up right and a humble guy. the dude just got the keys to the castle for a major program with all the toys at his disposal. It might not be as major as we want it to be, but I think a guy like this can change that.

Went to the intro. Really like Bucky. His values of hard work, unselfish and fearless play are going to be fun to watch and easy for Ags to get behind.

I really think he's going to work hard to be everywhere with the people, a part of the greater A&M culture, getting people bought into Texas A&M basketball.

I'm optimistic big time. Let's play some Buckyball baby!

Watched the Buzz Maryland press conference as a point of comparison. I know I'm biased, but the more you listen to him, the more it's clear he's full of sh&t. Self- righteous bs over and over...

They also played a clip of Manny saying how great a coach he is. Ironic given buzz completely misused Manny's skill set. Cult of buzz is about him.
