Big 10 hoops is seriously boring af though

Part of me thinks Buzz does well in the Big 10. He's had a good record against that conference lately.

The only good thing about Big Ten basketball is they have Friday and Sunday games. Crucial for the sickos

I won't watch either. I could barely watch us when he coached us. Awful product, but like bob said it'll be wild when he reinvents himself to have great shooting and a competent offense along with a normal defense.

not as athletic as the sec, however his 6'8 centers will be forced to guard 7 footers inside every game

i have no animosity for someone who is doing what they believe is best for their family. if he believes this than i can't fault him for wanting to move. i hope he does as good at maryland as he did at a&m and i hope we do better.

Less books - more recruiting. Just saying. If you want to read, pick another profession.

I dont wish Buzz well and hope he fails.

I'm disappointed with Buzz. I liked the man. I liked the Coach. I liked our program. I feel like if he were the Coach and man that I thought he was, he would have powered through the criticisms he was getting. Disgruntled fans are part of the job and he was certainly being paid enough to have thicker skin. If you are paid top 10 coach money and you sign on with that, then there are some expectations that come with it. If you are falling short, you need to own up to it.

I am 100% positive other than maybe money, Maryland will not be a better destination for him. And money wise, I think we could have matched his offer. That makes this more about running away from expectations than finding a better job. For him Maryland is a different job and offers a chance for him to reset after a late season collapse. While we won a 1st round game in the tourney, there was certainly a let down for fans AND the team relative to the talent on the roster. He owed us more and that included being mentally tougher.

I've heard his wife runs his social media, thus all the emojis.

Like most coaches, he runs from the heat and chases an extended guarantee of new money. He was never destined to be the savior of TAMU basketball.

Buzz is going to do somewhere between Turge and Gary Williams in MD success. Ten years and then retirement. MD is a basketball school. Someone else will be responsible for NIL.
