Is it me, or are they whitewashing all close fouls? They seem to just show a scoring play a couple of series prior.

I don't know, but they need to do away with the reviews to see if flagrant fouls were committed.

Just takes way too much time and kills game flow.

If the refs didn't see it live then too bad. Play on.

And the reviews in the last 2 minutes…ugh

The last two minutes of a game used to take a long time now they take eons thanks to the reviews.

If you can't tell it's flagrant without multiple slow motion replays it's not a flagrant foul.

In theory I like the replay because getting calls like that correct is important,
Flagrant 1 or 2 calls can definitely change the trajectory of the game and I tend to think it will help the favorite more than the underdog
Similarly it seems like Mahomes and co get all the calls

Why can't they have a 'review ref' off the floor that immediately reviews the foul instead of the guys on the floor?

Similar to the Birmingham reviews done by the SEC in baseball and softball

Same thing for Out of Bounds and Goal Tending. These usually can be determined under 30 seconds and doesn't need 3 officials on the court to determine it.

Review Ref works with camera network to 'time mark' each incident needing review and he makes the decision. At the end of the game, all the incidents are uploaded to conference / NCAA tourney to review for future correction if necessary.

I have never coached or refd a game in my life and can accurately determine OOB and Goal Tending with 90%+ accuracy. It is not that hard to speed this up.
