I haven't gone back and rewatched game yet, but I think one of the key turning points was the technical foul they got. Could have been a 4-5 point swing if the foul and technical don't get called. And nice to see Wilcher swish his 2 free throws. Wish they had teed up Pearl as well though!

There was no turning point. We dominated from the tip

It was incredible that every time I looked down they showed a graphic that said Auburn made 5 of last 7 shots. Then the score would still be 8 to 10 point lead. The tech really drowned them.

I kind of agree - but only because we kept responding when after they came back within 6 several times. Turning point is probably sealing the deal at the end by going up double digits.

Pettiford had me scared all the way up to the last minute and a half and we gave them cracks of hope when we turned the ball over several x with a blowout win in sight. We mauled them on the boards tho.

When he hit back to back threes, with the second being the bank shot, to cut our 12 point lead to 6 my anxiety went up a few levels.

Yeah, that was a bit scary, but when you think about those threes but that guy were really all they had to even keep them in the game

If that guy isnt on fire we win by 15-20

Seems like we have about 5 games like that... "If [your name here] isn't on fire, we win by double digits"

14:30 left in the game they hit their 2nd straight 3 to cut our 12 point lead to 6. Buzz called timeout.

Payne got a great look but missed, Garcia tapped it out for an offensive rebound and Phelps made a great driving layup, got fouled and made the and 1.

Auburn came down and made yet ANOTHER 3 and then Wade drove the lane, made the shot, got fouled, made the free throw just like Zhu had done in the previous possession. Auburn then missed, and Payne got a follow tip on our side and just like that our lead was back to 11 with 12:30 left.

I thought if there was ANY high leverage point (or whatever they call it in baseball) it was that sequence.

The truth here is that the Zebras got their **** together at the end of the first half and the other two guys decided to override Pat Turner by committee.

After multiple ticky tack bailout calls by Turner on the Ags, and A&M getting completely mauled down low, we finally started going to the line.

Pair that up with great defense, and we went on a run from being up by 1 to being up by 9 just before a last second lucky 3 at the half by Auburn.

We came out well in the 2nd, and the game fluctuated with us leading from anywhere between 6 to 12. Every time they came within striking distance, we answered with great defense and good offensive possessions.

Exactly. When I read the OP, I had to look at the date stamp to see if this was in reference to another game.
