Officially sets up the second top ten home matchup in A&M history!
Only 6 total points out of 6th in the AP

Interesting. Based on the voting points, the AP voters clearly think Auburn is miles and miles ahead of the rest of college basketball, then the next 4 teams are fairly close, then a bit of a drop before 6 and 7 are basically even (us and Tennessee) and then another drop before the rest of the Top 10.

I dont think voters feel Auburn is miles ahead, they just have the least number of losses and are coming off a victory over the previous AP number 2

I love that someone voted Florida as #1, I'm sure there's no bias there

They aren't miles ahead, but they are the clear number 1 team without any doubt
It was Adam Lichtenstein of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and yes, a Florida graduate.
That said, Florida did win at Auburn without even really breaking a sweat. It's not THAT crazy. It's crazy, but not "this guy should lose his vote" crazy.
