Just looking down the road at the Ags ranked opponents schedule in conference play
@ #14 OU 1/8
Vs. #6 Bama 1/11
@ #4 UK 1/14
@ #17 OM 1/22
Vs. #14 OU 1/28
Vs. #1 Tenner 2/22
@ #7 UF 3/1
Vs. #2 Auburn 3/4

Almost half our schedule being ranked opponents and most of them Top 10. Must take advantage of the middle part of our schedule with weaker opponents…. unfortunately that's usually when we go on our skids.

I saw some media analysts say that as of today every road game in SEC would be a Quad 1 win.

And have seen analysts predicting worst case the SEC gets 11 teams in the NCAA tournament (tie with 2011 Big East for most ever) and possibly even 12 to break the conference record.

Probably no section of anybody's schedule will be able to be considered 'weak'. It will just be a question of degrees of difficulty. Going to be a grind for everyone and fascinating to watch.

Was thinking this felt like one of those Big East years... I personally always hated the Big East love fest, but here we are with the SEC in a similar position as ESPN's prized love child.

Looks like South Carolina is the only team outside the Top 75, so that would be a Q2 road game, but the only one.

Looking at A&M's schedule by itself, zero Q3 conference games at all, which is incredible. May not stay that way, but right now … damn. This might be the best OOC run a conference has ever had.

People used to claim the SEC is top-heavy with 2 teams. My how that has changed over the years.

If USc beats Clemson tomorrow, that might change as well

If South Carolina beats Clemson the ACC should should just pack it up. It's closer to the Mountain West than the other major leagues this year.

Other than Duke the ACC is trash. They have ELEVEN teams rated worse in KenPom's ratings than the SEC's worst one.

Yeah South Carolina game this week will be interesting but them, Vandy, and LSU (also tu for different reasons) are the teams we don't want to lose to this year. After that this league will be fun to watch

This is nuts

Quote:

At one point Saturday, before SMU knocked off LSU, the SEC had an aggregate winning streak of 71 games. LSU's loss was the league's only defeat in 15 weekend starts.

There's all the potential to have an amazing resume if they can win half or more of those games listed in the OP

If Florida and Carolina win, I think the SEC's record will be 30-4 vs the ACC. 30-4 is absolutely absurd.

SEC currently 151-20 overall, including 30-4 vs the ACC and 14-2 versus the Big 12.

5-4 versus the Big East and 8-7 versus Big 10.

Yes, absolutely. In that scenario everyone would have multiple good wins, and there would be literally one bad loss for the entire CONFERENCE (South Carolina's opening loss to North Florida). I guess maybe they might get left out for that, but every other team would be #40 NET, easily.

It'll be very interesting to see how it shapes out in conference play. Will the bottom 2-3 teams be awful? Or will they sneak in a couple of big upsets here and there?
