Fun trivia for tonight's game. Current Lamar head coach Alvin Brooks was on our staff, along with Buzz, the last time we played Lamar. It was Nov. 17, 2006 and the Ags won 94-60 in BCG's last season.
Here's the real trivia, Lamar's coach that night was Steve Roccaforte, now an assistant on Buzz's staff here. Both Brooks and Rocc are Lamar alums.
(BTW shoutout to the basketball SID for putting this in the game notes, I saw Brooks' name and decided to look up when the last time we played Lamar was but they had this info readily available so I didn't have to go digging through the archives for it.)
