ETA: He did an interview on the Dan Patrick show and shared that they'll be going hard with NIL and using his media connections to recruit kids. It sounds like his media sponsors are willing to bankroll NIL projects and try something new.

He's saying we don't usually beat those type of teams out of players and he is right. And this kid is scheduling additional visits after visiting us and Green Bay. Obviously wasn't sold on us after the visit or he would be setting up additional visits. I'm not saying there is no shot. I don't think Mark is either. Just not expecting it.

Got it.

I am just hoping he is enjoying the chance to travel and check out nice places - but that, perhaps with the knowledge that the Aggies need some "heir(s) apparent" to replace our excellent backcourt after this upcoming season, which includes the need to replace a likely All-American, that he might circle back to give Texas A&M strong consideration.

Of course, I am the eternal optimist!

It could also mean that we weren't high on him after his visit. It's a two way street and maybe the staff stopped pursuing after his visit.
