this team is hard to watch. I love Aggie basketball, but that was an off the charts ugly game last night. Give Buzz and the players credit for playing hard and continuing to fight when down big, but man...
Our shooting ability is scary bad. When we shoot it just feels like it has no chance of going in. Hefner, Carter, Radford and Lawrence were a combined 0 for 14 from 3.
All of the bad shots Taylor takes, some of which he amazingly makes, are hard to watch. Even the crazy stuff he makes that goes in feels like "wow, we are not gonna be able to sustain that kind of production"...and incredibly he does semi-regularly.
Solo had GOT to clean up the unnecessary fouls...I feel like he should have already figured it out. He's too valuable to constantly be in foul trouble...especially shorthanded last night.
Manny is so frustrating seeing the massive raw talent that he can't seem to put together. If he would just give the ball up early in the possession and then attack later when he gets it back that simple thing would help him imo. He needs a rule like "you are not allowed to drive the ball to the basket without giving it up at least once". And then I like him driving the ball...he has the ball handling/size/athleticism to give us an offensive boost.
Hefner...I'm a fan of his offensive ability, but that was a really rough one for him. Hopefully he can regain his confidence/feel.
We definitely needed Coleman last night, but he frustrates with his off and on hands.
Just feels like pulling teeth putting the ball in the basket for this team.
