First thing first… yes go 1-0, focus on penn state, etc and I feel confident buzz and the team are doing so. This is a message board.

It seems like everyone is just kinda joking when talking about Colgate. Yes they are appropriately seeded as a 15 and rightfully a 14 pt underdog. This team won their conference for the 5th year in a row, is the best 15 seed, beat Syracuse at Syracuse, and is the best 3 point shooting team in the country.

They played a dogfight against Wisconsin in the tournament last year that was a back and forth game and Wisconsin didn't really feel comfortable until under a minute left and wisc won by 7.

Just saying, by the time we tip off on Thursday night it's possible we feel fortunate about our draw.

plus, we have a tough first round game against a hot penn st team

it's been my feeling since we got this draw that if we win our first two games, we'll make the final four.

Of course it's unlikely. They are a 15. They do have 3 senior starters and a junior that have all been to multiple tournaments and their sg hits over 50% of his 3s though.

It's a very difficult draw for Texas considering and not the 15 I would want to match against.

Colgate has lost once since Christmas… they are not an easy 15 seed. That being said, I expect Texas to win by double digits.

I would love for Texas to get upset and then we go to the sweet 16… then the committee didn't get their dream 2nd round match up and we take the path of a two seed to the Elite 8. Screw you, committee!

I agree.

Horns will win this one, but Colgate is good enough that they won't be able to just sleep walk through preparation for this one.
