I think we'll make a deep run.
I think we beat Penn St fairly comfortably. Then, upset the Sips.
Once that happens, we'll have an easy path.
Houston has the #1 seed and I don't think they make it that far.

Last year the committee appeared incompetent or corrupt. This year, however, they removed any doubt that they are nothing but corrupt.
As I posted on another thread - NCAA basketball politics is worse than football which is really saying something. The leadership is sleezy and it's very gross to basketball outsiders.

Absolutely. If we make to the sweet 16 it's a pretty easy path to the final 4. We can take UH. They just got raped by Memphis today.

They are indeed corrupt and bought off by the dollars behind the scenes. Bad human beings lacking integrity running a bad committee.

I don't understand that statement at all. Are we probable to beat tu if we play them… perhaps not but there's certainly a chance we will. They are really good and no doubt they have more talent than we have but the A & M TEAM is greater than the sum of the parts.

It's a non-transparent process that regularly has affected Texas A&M. Last year it was arguing about essentially last four in. This year it's two seed lines so up to eight slots instead of merely four. Plus continually being paired to play Texas is TIRESOME AND IDIOTIC especially since we will be in the same conference.
His comments on Sunday regarding the selection process were much more diplomatic than last year. If he had been a little less incendiary last year it would have helped us this year.MarcAg said:
You are right, I don't think the committee has it out specifically for A&M. I don't think they are any-A&M. They are anti-Buzz for his comments last year questioning their qualifications. He just happens to bet he coach at A&M.
You won't get to the finals without beating some really good teams. In the scheme of things, you are really just talking about your first game match up because after the first round, you are almost guaranteed to have an even odds matchup against a very good team. If you can't win that first game, your complaint about seedings is going to be moot.texasaggies987 said:Aginnebraska said:

You're right bubba. All bets are off once you make to the dance! Just win baby! The only good thing about this is I feel like we can win the regionals if we get over the hump and beat TU. But it's still sucks to get hosed by the committee since we clearly deserve to be a 5 seed.

Y'all who keep saying that are being silly. If this was the case, then why did we get snubbed last year before he made those comments? It's obvious that this committee has it out for A&M and a few other teams. It's extremely bias and quite frankly is an absolutely joke. And I do agree with Buzz that the committee needs to reveal how they rank teams. The system is very flawed and it needs a massive overhaul. We should have been a 5 seed at the very least and for some reason we got hosed 2 years in a row.
According to BracketMatrix, Texas A&M is the most under-seeded team in the NCAA tournament. Their actual seed is 1.59 seeds lower than their average of 136 bracket projections.

98.5% of brackets had A&M at 6 or higher. 51.5% had A&M at 5 or higher. 9.5% had A&M at 4 or higher.
Texas A&M is a 7 seed. Miami is a 5 seed.

Definitely feels like they had these two teams’ seeds flip-flopped but swapped them out for ratings’ sake. pic.twitter.com/XNWDCGWCMZ
If he does that, we'll got 31-2 next year and be a 10 seed.AG81 said:texasaggies987 said:

Simply put, you're wrong.
And Buzz should light them up again this year.
