There will always be complaints about refs but when a name like Pat Adams, or a Joe West type is officiating an event, you know the number of complaints will increase exponentially.
Is this the part where our fans think that now all of a sudden in the championship game the referees said "No, we want Xavier to win the NIT."

I agree the phantom jump ball was embarrassing. There were many others...charges/blocking were surreal in my mind. But as the game went on there were so many bad calls against both teams I couldn't tell who had the advantage. I'm just chalking it up to two good teams in a game that could have gone either way.
The agenda was a close game - don't let anyone get too far ahead - it screwed the Ags in the end because they were the less talented team.
That was a terrible call. How can you literally bobble the ball but still maintain control? It shouldn't not have been a jump ball. We had our opportunities to win it but that was one of many bad calls by refs and that just happened to be a very critical time and call.
The announcing made it feel a lot worse
Pathetic really. Losers. And by the way, the officials in this game obviously don't know how to do their jobs, and really should be investigated by the ncaa. Sad
The officiating, while not good, was not one sided in their favor, imo.

The Agenda was Buzz called out the bias of the NCAA selection committee, and the NCAA was not about to allow his team to win.

Refs were straight up bad. There were really poor calls on both ends that detracted from what was a really closely contested title game.

I watched the game. I just didn't have the tin foil hat on that you did, lol.
Their only agenda was "try to suck really bad at our jobs" which they did masterfully.
The refs rarely make me mad. They make bad calls both ways and it usually equals out. I always say it's 50-50 - you're happy and the other team is mad or vice versa. same thing tonight.
Here's comment from the Xavier board: "Kunkel gets an elbow to the face and it's a foul on him? Hopefully they'll call the hand check on both ends if that's the case."
One thing I did think was funny was that Fran Frashilla was really really bad tonight.

I don't think we had refs that favored the other team. We did have refs that call everything under the son except and ones and that isn't not conducive to our style of play.
