I thought it was a foul and can argue it prevented the TCU guard from turning the corner for a possible shot. Imagine if Terry's dunk had happened before time expired. I actually thought he could have been fouled before that.

Bottom line. Yes,it was a foul. No, you're not getting that call at that point in the game. TCU guard might have tried to sell the foul a bit too much.

He was doubled I believe as well. He almost had a backcourt violation before the turnover. It was great defense by Zona and a really good game. I did love seeing Purdue beating the sips….

More a flop than a foul. If they start calling that a foul, it takes away Buzz's defensive philosophy because we do that multiple times every game.

Glad they didn't call it. Total flop.

Player tried to dribble out of a triple team (2 defenders and a boundary) 47 feet from the basket with 3 seconds to go. Would have been awful to see a bailout like that. Short of a 2-hand shove, no call should be made there.

I think you could have called a foul, but I think the refs also recognized that he had panicked and gotten himself into a bad spot and exaggerated the contact.

Should have been a backcourt violation though. He basically landed on top of the ball past the halfcourt line when he fell.

General rule in sports - don't reward the player who makes a bad play. Hate seeing PI on under thrown balls, FT's awarded to players driving into traffic, etc.

Did you hate it against Bama?

It was a foul or a backcourt. Confident if situation was reversed Arizona would have been shooting free throws

point being, and i've said this for years, that the hardest route to defend is a come-back when the CB's back is turned.
