Mtn west 0-4 what a ****ing joke

Big ten only wins vs mtn west in first four and csu.

Would have loved to seen our red hot Ags play in one of these games.

Mountain West 0-4 may have you thinking, yeah but it's the Mountain West they were probably the lower seed. Nope, higher seed in 3 of the 4 games and Wyoming obviously a push in the playin 12s game.

What a joke. I had a really hard time wrapping my head around the respect the league was getting before we got the screw job but the 0-4 showing today really made me mad again.

My boss is a Michigan grad and emailed me today all happy about #11 Wolverines beating overrated #6 Mountain West powerhouse Colorado State. I did manage to say "Congrats" but then went on a diatribe about our screw job by the selection committee. I'm sure I'll get more interested as the tourney advances, but right now I'm still too pissed to watch much.

Mountain West is now 1-11 in the first round since 2016. Committee should consider them a one- bid league, based on their history.

Conspiracy!!! Ags got Jimmy Hoffa'ed, no answers but everyone knows the truth.

Yeah, the committee is all about getting the best teams into the field so I'm sure they'll give this their full consideration.

The MWC should never get more than 2 bids

Big Ten doesn't suck but 9 teams in the tourney is not right .

Michigan acting like they more than deserved to be in the tournament, unfortunately. They are one of my least favorite universities.

For realz. I know we are biased here but can't start a post like this without acknowledging SEC suckage especially after the Tennessee debacle.

It is not the committee's job to put teams in based upon who they think will play better, get further in the tournament, or be a better "story". It's their job to build the bracket simply based on all the games prior to the NCAA tournament, and in that they failed. Michigan should not have been in the tournament despite how they play in the tourny.

Rutgers and Wyoming are the 2 teams that stole our spot. Not Michigan or Notre Dame.

Maybe true In terms of how the teams were ranked by the committee but our NET was better than ND and we beat them head to head on a neutral so why were they rated higher by the committee?

Our NET was way higher than Rutgers as well. Dunno about Wyoming.

Unfortunately there is no exact objective metric that the committee seems to use. Given that, Notre Dame finished 2nd in the Acc with a 15-5 conf record. That passes the smell test. Rutgers has an NET of #74 with an 18-13 record. They had some nice wins but should not have been in. Wyoming is the kind of team that should never get an at large bid. Committee favored Big 10 way too much. I can't see that they were deserving of 9 bids at the expense of other teams that were more deserving. Michigan and Notre Dame performance aren't making committee member regret their decision. Indiana, Rutgers, Wyoming have provided serious ?????

Only 2 teams are going to end their season with a victory. I am hoping they are both SEC teams such as the Texas Aggies and Auburn or Arkansas.
