Aggies need to bounce back after this three game skid where they battled to the end in each one. Btw, they did cover on all three games, but we need W's now.

I'd feel a lot better if we can beat South Carolina without having to sweat it out too much.

That would be nice but other than Ole Miss minus their leading scorer wev'e had to sweat out every game.

That's kinda what I'm getting at. If we're actually improving (relative to other teams) and close to being the kind of team that can win big games, we need to be able to win these without much trouble.

Not saying we need to blow them off the floor, but I'd feel good about where we are overall if we can pull away in the last five minutes or so.

We're playing Frank ****ing Martin. We have zero chance.

S Carolina has won their last 2. Feel good about getting the W here but not sure I would lay those points. Would really be nice to see a blowout.

Serious question. How much does "covering", I.e., playing to a tie ball game with a minute to go against high level competition, matter to the committee. We have improved in the eyes of everyone except the committee (and about half of Texags posters). That should mean something WHEN we do get one or 2 big wins.

How much anything that specific matters depends on how close teams are based on the bigger factors.

It matters more just because your efficiency numbers are going to be better if the game is close and weighed more if it's against a good opponent.

So a win would have put us on the way to a berth but the losses didn't hurt us at this point. Bubble-worthy.

I'm more concerned about my blood pressure than what the committee thinks.

We moved up over 10 spots in the NET rankings after Wednesday night due to our "close" loss to a team that the computers figured would beat us fairly easily.
