Basketball is not a "can't miss" event, it is a "I might show up if they are doing well" event, and it definitely is not a "this team and coach all suck, are painful to watch, have blown this season and have nothing but the CBI to play for but I'll show up anyway" event

been waiting 68 years - don't believe its going to happen.

from the fall of 66 thru the fall of 71
we had 2000 student butts in seats nearly every game
and frequently 3000+
with a student body between 10 and 15 thousand
so - 15% to 25% of the students went to the games

Maryland vs. Duke tonight and Maryland has filled the house.. wish we were more of a basketball school.

Maryland was loud too!

I'm pretty sure when the team was winning, a lotto had to be introduced for tickets. Just win.

That Duke game was:
1) against Duke
2) dedication night for the court being named for Gary after being there for something like 20 years

Not a regular night at the arena.
