So, much like many of you I've been sort of rolling my eyes at the "experts" picks for the elite 8 because they've all been pretty much 1/2 all the way down the line.

Well, I finally filled out my first impression bracket. I've got 4 1's, 3 2's, and 1 4 (U Conn). Is anyone else having trouble selecting a bracket buster? I just see a HUGE drop off outside of the top 2 seeds. The 3-5 seeds are bad this year.

i agree. i just don't see many 1s and 2s getting ousted early.

Oh, what are your non 1/2 seeds in the elite 8 was the discussion point.

i cant remember well, but werent there 0 1/2 matchups in the elite 8 last year? or maybe two years ago? this is why March rocks, underdog glory, upset city

the last three weeks or so pitt is playing as well as anyone.

uconn has loads of talent, but a little inconsistent. they also have one of the very best tournament coaches.
