looking at those standings just makes the baylor loss stick in my craw even more. we could be right there in the 2 loss group if not for that damn game.

Yup,

That loss makes me want to puke even more as the baptistesteseteses continue to choke. I believe the collective baptist shoe, as it does with them every year, has dropped.

It is kinda nice to see everyone fall out of the 3-loss group while knowing we are in prime position to invite at least 2 of those teams above us into the mire.

And to think, KSU has to play both of the other two. The chances of them winning both of those games is MUCH worse than us beating KU and t.u.

Easy on the logic there buddy, we don't take kindly to that in these parts.

That Baylor, loss, while painful may be what set the stage for the current run. Maybe for both teams. We haven't lost and Baylor's won once.

What did we gain?
Tenacity/toughness - We came back from 9 down late in the 2nd to go to overtime.

Defense - We held a high-scoring team to 60-something regulation points.

Chip on the shoulder - I'm fairly certain that the loss galls no one on this board as much as it does the team.

I'm not sure we win all of OSU (comeback), Texas (confidence/defense), Missou (comeback), ISU (comeback) without those, so the record is probably the same or better.

Next game is what matters. Then get ready for tu at their house.

1 more win is all I ask for right now.

Can't believe we lost that Baylor game. We need somebody else to sneak up on KSU, has Texas played them yet? If not, they've got two more great chances at losses (KU, tu)

I think we are peaking at the right time.

Agreed ... if this team can take care of business this weekend against OSU and somehow manage to go into Austin and steal a win on Monday, we'd be in great shape for the home stretch!

The Baylor loss is tough, but it's the tech loss that is inexcusable. That is a rag-tag bunch in Lubbock, and we had no business losing to them. We will beat them by 20 at home.

You realize Tech is 11-0 at home and just beat a team that slaughtered us, rriigghhtt?

I think the baylor loss is worse than the tceh loss.

At home favored by 8 or 9, vs. road against a team that plays well at home.

just one free throw. just one, and we are sitting pretty.

look, I'm just looking at talent on the floor -- not some black magic that surrounds the building out there. the truth is that tech puts some scrubs on the floor every night. the exception is maybe Zeno, and he is extremely streaky.

With the talent we have, that loss is inexcusable.
