I've had to verify my email address 3 different times today. Is this permanent? I don't recall having to do this outside of the original account creation?

Due to the increasingly insecure nature of password-only credentials, multi-factor authentication is now required for all accounts logging in with a password. If you prefer not validate your email during login, you can setup a passkey for your account.

If you explicitly log out of your account, you will be required to enter an email validation code the next time you login with a password.

I created a passkey and it's still making me verify with my email. This is super annoying as a I share a computer and dont want to leave my account logged in.

I see that you have correctly created a passkey; however, you have not yet logged in with it. Perhaps you have a password manager auto-logging-in for you. You should use your passkey when you are presented with this screen. Do not enter your username.
