Tried to make a post on the history forum, and this is what I keep getting. Not sure what that means. Did I get in trouble without realizing it?

no trouble, it just means the post validation system thought there was a technical issue with the text you were trying to post.

were you trying to post any pictures or links?

Yes, a link to Wikipedia, which seemed pretty innocuous.
