instead of the grey highlighting of unread messages and blue highlighting if someone responded to one of your posts, they all are showing up as maroon. i assume the maroon was a change (although i liked the grey), but was the blue supposed to go away too?

No change was intended. We did push out a pretty significant update this morning, so it's probably a result of that.
