Staying in The Woodlands for a night and looking for S&Rs for dining. Not a huge seafood person, so that is not a high priority. All other cuisines are totally fine.

Not sure what type of vibe you are looking for, or if you want something you can only find in The Woodlands….but we've always had incredible food and service at the following…

Amrina
Trulucks
Azzurro Italian
Glorias Latin cuisine
The Refuge

Most of those are closer to I45. I don't venture to the back of The Woodlands much, so can't comment on anything back there

Many thanks guys. Live out of state so may be inclined to have Tex-Mex/Mexican/Latin.

I second The Refuge. Less formal but great food and good whiskey selection is Whiskey Cake.

Personally think this is one of the best restaurants in The Woodlands. It's New Orleans style, so does have a fair amount of seafood, but has a few other things as well. A bit pricey, but has been excellent every time I've been.

Crazy that I was actually just looking this one up when you posted this. Many thanks.

Perry's and order the Famous Pork Chop. You're welcome!

or for Mexican - Goode Company Grill and Cantina (1A), Gringo's (1B), Guadalajara (1C), Pappasito's (1D)

You can't go wrong with any those.

My daughter and her husband love Cyclone Anaya's but my wife and I prefer the others above.

We've eaten at Gloria's probably six times already. Prices are very fair, and food has always been good. If you're looking for good value, I'd recommend Gloria's. If you don't care about price much, I'm sure there are higher end restaurants that are really good.

We dined at Gloria's, which was a great recommendation.

Many thanks one and all.
