- Banana ketchup
- Garlic
- Onion

I am broiling a chicken thigh with BBQ sauce to try to get a good balance of flavors. I like the sauce a bit sweet.

Do you know how to make fried rice in case you want an Asian themed dinner?

Banana Ketchup is a Filipino thing. Go to an Asian market. If not, then use ketchup and mashed ripe bananas.

I do a little lunch catering on the side and used the BBQ sauce which everyone loved.

I've made this a couple of times and it's pretty damn good. It uses a homemade banana ketchup.

Cut small pieces of pork as a substitute meat, skewer them and grill. Allow the sauce to caramelize. You will love the results. That is how they make pork on a stick in the Philippines sans cumin.

I have on occasion put a pork shoulder in the slow cooker with a little seasoning and placed one or two banana peels on top of the meat. It gives the pork a slight banana flavor. I experimented and used a whole banana once. The end result was not very good because the meat had a pronounced banana flavor.

In regard to babanas. I buy plantains that are discounted by grocery stores due to brown coloration. The irony is they are ripe for frying. Sometimes I mash them up and add a little garlic powder and cumin. The plantains generally speak for themselves.

Are you asking because you don't know or because you want to make a suggestion for Reel?
