Just got off of a 3000 mile round trip to see kids in D.C. and Fort Campbell, KY. There's this little Mennonite donut trailer in Crossville, Tennessee that we stop at when the moon aligns just right. They are only open two days a week in two different locations and only in the morning (7-10/12). The donuts are really, really good. They are about 1.5" thick and about 8" in diameter. Very unique taste. They also sell various jams and honey (One is called T.O.E Jam [Tangerine/Orange'Elderberry]). They are located off of I-40 in Crossville: Wednesdays Peavine Road and Saturdays take Exit #317 Hwy 127 (near Lowe's). They set up in empty parking lots. I realize this is information for a very small group of people but worth checking out if you happen to be in that area.
